The “Guerilla Gardener’s” Poppies in Queen Square

Growing happily around the edge of Queen Square are some of the poppies, planted to commemorate the outbreak of WW1 in 1914. ┬áThe previous post gives the background to the planting of these poppies by our very own “Bath Guerilla Gardner.”

    What a delightful & moving tribute, well done, & thank you, Terry. Let’s hope the Poppies bloom & bloom for many years to come. We must try to grow some in the Brunswick Garden in the Parade Gardens.
