Welcome to the Bath – Braunschweig Twinning Association

The cities of Bath in GB and Braunschweig in Germany were officially twinned in April 1971, although a friendship between the two cities had existed since 1957. The group aims to foster friendship and exchange visits between the two cities.

We’re also delighted to be associated with St. Andrew’s Church of England Primary School, Bath:
“As the current Chairman of the Bath-Braunschweig Twinning Association, I am absolutely delighted that St. Andrew’s Church of England Primary School, Bath is participating so avidly with us and sharing news and views via websites. The now celebrated St. Andrew’s School Choir has played a key role in helping to raise the profile of our two cities – Bath and Braunschweig – and it remains for us to say a huge thanks to Headteacher, Sue East, for her total enthusiasm in making so many things happen over such a relatively short space of time. This gives ‘time-share’ a whole new meaning.”        – Bryan Chalker, Chairman

The school’s website can be found here: www.standrewsprimarybath.com
