The committee of BBTA and the staff in the Mayor’s office were very disappointed that the civic visit of the Lord Mayor of Brunswick has now been cancelled, as a result of the continuing high incidence of Covid cases in this area. The good news, however, is that he will still give his talk (in German) on “Urban Development in Braunschweig” via Zoom on 27th October, at a meeting also attended by the Mayor of Bath. The evening is a result of co-operation between Bath German Society, the BBTA and Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, from whom details on registering for the talk are available.
