The newly elected committee met on 30th July, with the Mayor of Bath, Cllr June Player, as the guest of honour. All committee members have a long standing interest in twinning, and we hope to build on these ties in the coming year. In particular, the online links developed in the past year have proved very successful in maintaining friendships in spite of geographical distances.
As for in person activities, we are hoping to welcome a civic delegation from Brunswick in October, and to have a German presence at Bath’s Christmas Market.
The Association welcomes new members, who we hope will also attend committee meetings and take part in other activities. Our next meeting will be on 3rd September 2021, via Zoom.
